A Measure of Selling Skill: Scale Development and Validation

Selling skills are learned proficiency at performing tasks necessary for a sales job. They are among the most important predictors of sales performance. However, the research into selling skills has been hampered by the lack of an overall scale. To address this shortcoming the present paper identifies a model of sales skills consisting of three components of interpersonal skills, salesmanship skills, and technical skills. Using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, the authors report the development of a Selling Skill scale as a reliable and valid instrument. The authors suggest priorities for future research and potential uses of this instrument.

Among the aspects that are often used as indicators of welfare measure are income, population, health, education, employment, consumption, housing, and social culture. If we use indicators will arise the question of whether the fulfillment of the indicators that a person would have to obtain welfare, why some people already have the luxury homes, vehicles, deposits and various forms of other properties should feel restless, uneasy, frightened, even there ended his life by suicide. Based on the above facts, it seems there is a lack in measuring the welfare of society. In Islamic economics, happiness is given by Allah. to anyone (male and female) who want to do good deeds along with faith in Allah. As mentioned by Allah. In Surah An-Nahl verse while the three indicators to measure welfare and happiness is a mental formation (tawhid), consumption, and the loss of all forms of fear and anxiety, as mentioned Allah. In verses 3-4 Quraish letter. As for the social concern that represented by zakat has a great potential in this country, and if it can be realized, zakat is a factor that contributes greatly to the economy of the community, especially for rural people. Di antara aspek yang sering digunakan sebagai indikator ukuran kesejahteraan adalah pendapatan, populasi, kesehatan, pendidikan, pekerjaan, konsumsi, perumahan, dan sosial budaya. Jika kita menggunakan indikator akan timbul pertanyaan apakah pemenuhan indikator bahwa seseorang harus mendapatkan kesejahteraan, mengapa beberapa orang sudah memiliki rumah mewah, kendaraan, deposito dan berbagai bentuk properti lainnya harus merasa gelisah, takut, bahkan ada yang mengakhiri hidupnya dengan bunuh diri. Berdasarkan fakta di atas, tampaknya ada yang kurang dalam mengukur kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dalam ekonomi Islam, kebahagiaan diberikan oleh Allah kepada siapapun (pria dan wanita) yang ingin melakukan perbuatan baik bersama dengan iman kepada Allah. Seperti yang disebutkan oleh Allah dalam Surat An- Nahl ayat 97, sedangkan tiga indikator untuk mengukur kesejahteraan dan kebahagiaan dalam islam adalah tauhid, konsumsi, dan hilangnya segala bentuk ketakutan dan kecemasan. hal itu seperti yang disebutkan Allah dalam ayat 3-4 surat Quraisy. Adapun kepedulian sosial yang diwakili oleh zakat memiliki potensi yang besar di negeri ini, dan jika dapat direalisasikan, zakat merupakan faktor yang memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap perekonomian masyarakat, terutama bagi masyarakat pedesaan

MODERASI BERAGAMA DALAM BINGKAI TOLERANSI

Pembahasan ini hendak menelaah lebih dalam tentang moderasi beragama di tinjau dari aspek toleransi. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar mendapatkan gambaran yang jelas, bagaimana sebenarnya moderasi beragama dan toleransi serta batas-batasnya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), yaitu suatu penelitian yang data-datanya berasal dari literatur-literatur yang terkait dengan obyek penelitian, kemudian dianalisis muatan isinya. Dari kajian ini menegaskan bahwa, moderasi dalam kerukunan beragama haruslah dilakukan, karena dengan demikian akan terciptalah kerukunan umat antar agama atau keyakinan. Untuk mengelola situasi keagamaan di Indonesia yang sangat beragam, kita membutuhkan visi dan solusi yang dapat menciptakan kerukunan dan kedamaian dalam menjalankan kehidupan keagamaan, yakni dengan mengedepankan moderasi beragama, menghormati keragaman, serta tidak terjebak pada Intoleransi, ekstremisme dan Radikalisme. Toleransi beragama bukanlah untuk saling melebur dalam keyakinan. Tidak juga untuk saling bertukar keyakinan dengan kelompok agama yang berbeda-beda. Toleransi di sini adalah dalam pengertian mu’amalah (interaksi sosial), sehingga adanya batas-batas bersama yang boleh dan tak boleh dilanggar. Inilah esensi moderasi dalam bingkai toleransi di mana masing-masing pihak diharapkan bisa mengendalikan diri dan menyediakan ruang untuk saling menghormati keunikannya masing-masing tanpa merasa terancam keyakinan maupun hak-haknya.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan upaya yang dilakukan dalam memfasilitasi keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak usia dini di TK Masyithoh 1 Purworejo. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan analisis data deskriptif. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) faktor yang mempengaruhi keterlibatan orang tua TK Masyithoh 1 Purworejo dalam mendidik anak meliputi faktor status sosial, faktor bentuk keluarga, faktor tahap perkembangan keluarga, dan faktor model perandan (2) upaya yang telah dilakukan dalam memfasilitasi keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak usia dini di TK Masyithoh 1 Purworejo, yaitu:parenting education,informasi tentang pendidikan, perkembangan, dan kesehatan anak, pembelajaran di rumah, pertunjukan penampilan anak,rekreasi,bekerjasamadengan komunitas masyarakat (puncak tema), kunjungan ke rumah oleh guru, dan partisipasi pada kegiatan sekolah

Improving Quality Education through Better Working Conditions of Academic Institutes

Education has become inevitable for every country and specifically for every person to proceed in with the appropriate pace. Life is really difficult to be lived without essential amount of education. Many countries are giving attention towards this cause and are making strategies and policies to improve the quality of education in the country. For better quality of education, working conditions of the educational institutes is very important. In addition, faculty retention and employability are very crucial in this regard. In the current study, the aim of the author is to study the impact of working conditions on quality education in Indonesia in the presence of mediation of faculty retention and employability. For this purpose, data was collected from 293 faculty members of the educational institutes of Indonesia. To analyze the gathered data, confirmatory factor analysis CFA and structural equation modeling approaches have been used. The results of data analysis have shown that the impact of working condition on quality education is insignificant but the mediating role of employability and faculty retention are significant in this regard. In the last section of the study, several theoretical, practical and policy making implications have been discussed by the author. In addition, some limitations and future research indications have also been described.

This article examines how technology can be utilized in the process of Arabiclearning. Many problems of learning of Arabic language in accordance with the context faced in various educational institutions, a teacher allows modification formethodsof teaching and learning. This can be done with technological developments that contain lots of information that can be used to improve learning outcomes. Discussion about the application of technology in learning Arabic contains the question of what kind of technology that can be utilized, whether the technology can play a role in the alignment and sustainability of learning Arabic from basic to middle level, whether the technology can make learners will be more interested in learning the Arabiclanguage, whether the technology can create realization and relevance to what the students perceived, whether the technology can create Arabic learning media more varied that still lacks, whether the technology can improve the ability or competence of teachers in teaching Arabic, whether technology is able to take advantage of time allocation for learning Arabic, whether the technology is able to create an Arabic speaking environment. Through qualitative descriptive method, this article summarizes some of the above questions.

In essence, marriage is a religious order that is governed by Islamic law and is the only authoritative sexual relations in Islam. As rahmatan lil ‘alamin, Islam has determined that the only way to meet the biological needs of individuals living just by marriage, marriage is one thing that is very interesting if we look more closely at the content of the meaning of this marriage problem. The Qur’an has explained that among the purpose of marriage is to find peace in one’s life both for men and women (litaskunu ilaiha). Islam ordained marriage as a vehicle of family to achieve happiness in life. Therefore, in this article, the author explores the notion of marriage, the legal basis, as well as the terms and harmonious marriage’s wisdom that prescribed. <p>Abstract: THE PARENTS' ROLE IN EDUCATING CHILDREN SINCE<br />INFANCY IN THE FAMILY. The child is a boon and mandate entrusted by<br />God to His servant who will be asked for the responsibility in the Hereafter.<br />The obligation as a parent is to provide education to children starting from<br />an early age. The development of early childhood is strongly bound by the<br />environment and the family. This paper aims to describe the role of parents<br />to the education of children. The study in this paper uses literature study or<br />library research method. The result of this study is that family is the first<br />place where children get education. Children's character and personality is<br />formed first in the family. Parents should have a concept or provision in<br />educating their children that includes moral or character education,<br />science education, religious education, be fair to the children, and give<br />attention and affection to children. Parents become role models for their<br />children. Therefore, the role of parents is very important in the<br />development and formation of children's character from an early age.</p><p>Anak merupakan anugerah dan sekaligus amanah yang<br />dititipkan oleh Allah kepada hambaNya yang akan dimintai<br />pertanggungjawabannya di akhirat kelak. Kewajiban sebagai orang tua<br />adalah memberikan pendidikan kepada anak yang dimulai sejak usia<br />dini. Perkembangan pada anak usia dini sangat terikat oleh lingkungan<br />dan keluarganya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan peran orang<br />tua terhadap pendidikan anak. Kajian dalam tulisan ini menggunakan<br />metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil dari kajian ini yaitu<br />bahwa keluarga merupakan tempat pertama dimana anak memperoleh<br />pendidikan. Karakter dan kepribadian anak dibentuk pertama kali di<br />dalam keluarga. Orang tua hendaknya memiliki konsep atau ketentuan<br />dalam mendidik anaknya yang meliputi pendidikan moral atau karakter,<br />pendidikan ilmu pengetahuan, pendidikan ilmu agama, bersikap adil<br />terhadap anak, serta memberikan perhatian dan kasih sayang kepada<br />anak. Orang tua menjadi suri tauladan bagi anak-anaknya. Oleh sebab itu<br />peran orang tua sangatlah penting dalam perkembangan dan<br />pembentukan karakter anak sejak dini.</p>

Selling (business) is the exchange of wealth on the basis of mutual willing and the joint agreement. Conditions of the legality of the seller and buyers there are four; (a) reached puberty understanding. (b) Moslems, this condition specifically for buyers in certain objects objects (c) no objects or items in chairman voterâ (ma›kud alaih) and (d) not wasted (waste), the will of their own and there is no compulsion of the other party. Conditions of the legality of goods sold voterâ there are six; (a) must be holy (b) cannot be not to associate with something (c) cannot be in the limit time (d) its own, (e) can be known (seen), (f) can be known to the quality and the weight. various kinds of selling (business) in Islam, seen from the point of view of the two glass eyes of Islamic law there are two valid and cancel and from the eye of goods there are three (1) selling goods that appear, (2) selling mentioned the pharmacodynamic him in the promise and( 3) selling things that are not there. In Islam in business provide current accounts allow to choose to cancel the marriage of selling (business) called khiar, there are <br />three, namely; (1) khiar, assembly (2) khiar conditions (3) khiar disgrace. <p>Every parent can certainly always look forward to the baby’s presence.<br />The presence of children would add to the happiness in the household. For getting good education, children should start it at their early age even while still in the womb. Early childhood between 4 to 6 years known as pre-school age children are by the experts called them as the golden age, because the intellect in this period increased by 50%. There are so many methods that can be done to children aged prematurely. One of them is playing. Learning while playing or playing while learning can be fun and entertaining for children. Playing will improve aspects of physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual children. They will find new things that<br />have not ever known before. The playing has benefits and influences for children, including strengthening the physical (body) through muscular movements, develop personality, improve communication, and so on. The types of play that can be done is through the method of social playing, playing with objects and as well as playing a role. Each of these methods has its advantages and disadvantages of each. However, the important thing is not to impose less favorable learning them, because basically the world is a world-age children play, playing while learning or learning through playing method.</p>

KONSEP PEMBIAYAAN DALAM PERBANKAN SYARI’AH

<p><em>THE FINANCING CONCEPT IN SHARIA BANKING. Defrayal or financing is funding provided by one party to another to support the planned investment, either by themselves or institution. In other words, the financing is funding incurred to support the planned investment. Financing terms in effect means that I believe, I trust. The word financing means (trust) that means financial institutions as s</em>}<em>a</em>><em>h</em>} <em>ib al-ma</em>><em>l put their trust in someone to carry out the given mandate. The fund should be used properly, fairly, and must be accompanied by a bond and the terms are clear and mutually beneficial for both parties. Each financial institution has syari’ah philosophy to seek the pleasure of Allah. to obtain good in the world and the hereafter. Therefore, any activities of financial institutions which feared deviate from the guidance of religion should be avoided. In the implementation of the financing, Islamic bank must fulfill two very important aspects, namely: (1) syar’i aspect, where in each realization of financing to customers, the Islamic bank must be oriented to the Islamic Shariah; and (2) the economic aspect, which is still considering the gains, both for banks and for Shariah bank customers.</em></p><p align="center"><strong>K</strong><strong>eywords: </strong><em>Financing, Islamic Banking, Islamic Financial</em><em> Institutions</em></p><p> </p><p><em>P</em><em>embiayaan atau financing adalah pendanaan yang diberikan oleh suatu pihak kepada pihak lain untuk mendukung investasi yang telah direncanakan, baik dilakukan sendiri maupun lembaga. Dana tersebut harus digunakan dengan benar, adil, dan harus disertai dengan ikatan dan syarat-syarat yang jelas dan saling menguntungkan bagi kedua belah pihak. Setiap lembaga keuangan syari’ah mempunyai falsafah mencari keridaan Allah swt. untuk memperoleh kebajikan di dunia dan akhirat. Oleh karena itu, setiap kegiatan lembaga keuangan yang dikhawatirkan menyimpang dari tuntunan agama harus dihindari. Dalam pelaksanaan pembiayaan, bank syari’ah harus memenuhi dua aspek yang sangat penting, yaitu: (1) aspek syar’i, di mana dalam setiap realisasi pembiayaan kepada para nasabah, bank syari’ah harus tetap perpedoman pada syari’at Islam; dan (2) aspek ekonomi, yakni tetap mempertimbangkan perolehan keuntungan, baik bagi bank syari’ah maupun bagi nasabah bank syari’ah.</em></p><p><strong>K</strong><strong>ata kunci: </strong><em>P</em><em>embiayaan, perbankan syariah, lembaga keuangan syariah</em></p>

Contextual learning is one alternative that can reduce verbal learning and theoretical. In addition, this study may provide reinforcement for comprehensive understanding of the meaning or intent of linking science students are learning with hands-on experience in real life. Through contextual learning model, the learning experience is not only the case and held when someone students are in class, but it is much more important than that is how to bring the learning experience out of the classroom, which is when he is required to respond to and solve real problems faced day-to- day. Contextual learning is ideally relate to real-world problems to the theory that will be studied or presented to the students, and students are actively to solve the problem according what he gained through experience and connected with the theory that he learned at school by his teacher. Motivation to learn directly derived from the will or ideals or even certain goals that have been owned by the students in advance, so that only the teacher directs and assists in its capacity as facilitator of learning. Students become more active because he is learning, he is experiencing, and in the end he will apply its knowledge in life.

Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa  adalah pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam mengawali pembelajaran dengan memberikan  permasalahan, sehingga siswa diawal pembelajaran sudah dilatih untuk berpikir baik dengan menghubung-hubungkan konsep yang telah dipelajari maupun bernalar dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah adalah suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa aktif secara optimal, memungkinkan siswa melakukan eksplorasi, observasi, eksprimen, investigasi, pemecahan masalah yang mengintegrasikan keterampilan dan konsep-konsep dasar dari berbagai konten area. Pendekatan ini meliputi menyimpulkan informasi sekitar masalah, melakukan sintesa dan mempresentasikan apa yang telah diperoleh siswa untuk disampaikan kepada siswa lainnya. Belajar berbasis masalah berarti siswa memberi makna terhadap suatu situasi yang dihadapi serta berusaha membangun dan memahami konsep dari suatu materi dengan cara terlibat aktif dalam memecahkan masalah.

This article discusses the problem of character education. Character education into the spotlight of attention lately because of the decline, which resulted in the decline of morals. In the Qur'an, the characters use the term "akhlaq" who interpreted the will of the conditioned. Will and habit give rise to power. In the habit of producing a good deed is called akhlakul karimah. Character education is a deliberate effort to help character development with optimal. Character education can't just transfer knowledge or train a certain skill. Character education need to process, examples of exemplary, and conditioning or pembudayaan in the environment of the learners in the school environment, family, or community environment. Character education in the Qur'an need to pay attention to the importance of the cultivation of the moral dimensions of commendable (akhlakul karimah).

The effect of intergroup threat and social identity salience on the belief in conspiracy theories over terrorism in indonesia: collective angst as a mediator

The present study tested how intergroup threat (high versus low) and social identity as a Muslim (salient versus non-salient) affected belief in conspiracy theories. Data among Indonesian Muslim students (N = 139) from this study demonstrated that intergroup threat and social identity salience interacted to influence belief in conspiracy theories. High intergroup threat triggered greater belief in conspiracy theories than low intergroup threat, more prominently in the condition in which participants’ Muslim identity was made salient. Collective angst also proved to mediate the effect of intergroup threat on the belief. However, in line with the prediction, evidence of this mediation effect of collective angst was only on the salient social identity condition. Discussions on these research findings build on both theoretical and practical implications.

This article focuses on factors and impacts of child marriage from the perspective of sociology and psychology. Using descriptive qualitative analysis, this article attempts to address the problem in-deep. The Article 7 of Law No 1 Year 1974 states that the minimum age for marriage is 19 for male and 16 for female, thus child marriage is basically illegal. Child marriage is mostly bring negative impact for female such as premature aging syndrome due to her role as wife and mother.

PEMIKIRAN PENDIDIKAN KI. HAJAR DEWANTARA DAN RELEVANSINYA DENGAN KURIKULUM 13

The progress in education side today, cannot be separated from the role of figures as the main actor. The figure who has a major contribution to the development of education in Indonesia and become a Father of National Education that is KI. Hajar Dewantara, This study is a library research by using content analysis approach. His thought about education is relevant to the K13, such as learning objectives, which are aimed at educational goals in four dimensions, physical, intellectual, spiritual and social objectives. The purpose of education is; equally directing educational goals relating to individuals and society, but in K13 the objectives itself are further related to the nation and state, even the civilization of the world. The role of educators according to KI. Hajar Dewantara as facilitator and motivator. Meanwhile, according to the k13 the role of educator itself as a facilitator in learning and as a learning partner for learners. Both agree that there are four competencies that must be owned by an educator, namely pedagogic, personality, social and professional. The principle of learning in the Eka Yanuarti 414 Jurnal Penelitian, Vol. 11, No. 2, Agustus 2017 K13 also related to the Father of National Education’s learning principles. He stated that there are five principles itself: the principle of independence, the principle of nationality, the principle of culture, the principle of nature and the principle of humanity. Furthermore, in the learning materials both agreed that learning materials are taught in accordance with the level of development of the age of learners. Both of them put the subjects of education of Religion and Character in every level of the educational unit
