Psychological Empowerment and Psychological Well-Being as Job Performance Mediators
Alfa Santoso Budiwidjojo Putra, Evi Dewi Kusumawati, Dewi Kartikasari
2023· Journal of Business Management and Economic Development26doi:10.59653/jbmed.v2i01.372

This study aims to investigate the relationship between perceived organizational support (POS), psychological empowerment, psychological well-being, and job performance among 150 employees in the Indonesian telecommunications sector. This sample size aligns with the requirements for Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale with two parts, covering respondent profiles and research variables. SmartPLS was employed for data analysis, and various tests were conducted to ensure data reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. The findings highlight key factors influencing job performance in this context. Firstly, psychological empowerment has a significant positive impact on job performance, emphasizing the importance of empowering employees for enhanced productivity. Secondly, psychological well-being also significantly influences job performance, indicating the connection between employees' mental health and their job performance. Interestingly, perceived organizational support (POS) itself doesn't directly impact job performance but indirectly influences it through the mediation of psychological empowerment. In other words, strong organizational support boosts employees' empowerment, leading to improved job performance. The study also underscores the joint mediating roles of psychological empowerment and psychological well-being, suggesting that organizations should focus on enhancing POS while nurturing empowerment and well-being to optimize job performance.

2023· Jurnal Informasi dan Teknologi11doi:10.60083/jidt.v5i4.415

The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether consumer intention to use and behavior with regard to digital wallets is influenced by factors such as sales promotions, habits, hedonic motivation, perceived benefits, and convenience. The demographic included in this study consists of actual people who use digital wallets in Indonesia. Purposive sampling combined with non-probability sampling was the sample strategy employed. The sample for this study included 200 users of digital wallets. In this study, a field survey with a questionnaire instrument was used as the data gathering method. Path analysis using SPSS AMOS is the data analysis technique employed in this study. The findings of the study led to the following deductions: The benefits that users of digital wallets believe to be obtained are influenced by their perceived convenience. Perceived ease of use has no bearing on users' intention to use digital wallets. Perceived utility has no bearing on a person's inclination to utilize a digital wallet. Perceived benefits have an impact on consumers' usage behavior while using digital wallets. The intention to utilize a digital wallet is influenced by hedonic incentive. The intention to utilize digital wallets is influenced by one's behaviors. The usage patterns of users of digital wallets are influenced by habit. Sales promotions have little effect on how users of digital wallets use their devices. Users' usage behavior of digital wallets is influenced by their intention to use one.

1996· The International Journal of Biological Markers9doi:10.1177/172460089601100105

The role of free (F) and complexed serum PSA is now under investigation. In the present study, we evaluated the clinical significance of F-PSA and F/Total (T) PSA ratio in a preliminary series of samples from 88 patients with prostate cancer (PC), 113 with benign prostatic disease (BPD), and 98 with non-prostatic disease (NP). We used the F-PSA and third generation T-PSA (DPC, Los Angeles, USA) chemiluminescent enzyme immunometric assays with the IMMULITE automated system. At the 10 ng/ml cutoff for T-PSA levels, we obtained a sensitivity of 83% with a specificity of 100% in NP and 80% in BPD. The addition of the F/T ratio--rather than F-PSA levels--was useful to better discriminate PC and BPD in the cases erroneously classified by T-PSA alone: 44/68 samples (65%) were correctly diagnosed. Moreover, the F/T ratio was particularly effective in the critical T-PSA range between 4.1-9.9 ng/ml; 26/40 cases (65%) were correctly evaluated. In conclusion, the F/T ratio seems to be an interesting auxiliary test to T-PSA, to be reserved for selected cases where additional diagnostic information is necessary.

These findings were supported by descriptive statistics. Technology use, worker skills, and production efficiency were found to be significantly positively correlated, as evidenced by multiple regression analysis. Differences in adoption patterns between rural and urban industries were revealed through cross tabulation. The results of this study highlight the need for a customized approach, resource distribution and information exchange to enhance technical innovation in the heterogeneous craft industry in West Java.

Vivi Monita, Wisnu Wendanto, Endang Anggiratih
2023· Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Elektro Komputer dan Informatika2doi:10.26555/jiteki.v9i3.26533

Software-defined networking (SDN) is becoming increasingly popular because of features such as programming control, embedded monitoring, fine-grained control, flexibility, support for many tenants, and scalability. Problems with the prior design, known as the conventional network, include the need to configure each network device individually, decentralized control, and a persistent issue with tenant enforcement for multitenant support. Tenants are unable to administer their networks without disturbing their neighbours. In this research, network slicing on SDN will ensure tenant isolation using FlowVisor and an SDN controller. Flowspace, which is part of FlowVisor capable of implementing network isolation, is for isolation in this research. Multitenancy is supported in SDN via the network slicing technique. Two types of renters were employed, and two testing procedures connectivity and functionality were run to meet the research objectives. This research produced several findings, including that all hosts were correctly linked, and the connection was achieved without turning on FlowVisor. The host function can only send and receive data from hosts with the same tenant. The research results show that FlowVisor can be applied for isolation enforcement. As a result of each tenant utilising their slice of the network without being interrupted by other slices, this research finds that utilising FlowVisor to construct Flowspace can segment the network to allow multitenancy. Expanding the number of slices for more study and testing in a real-world setting is possible.

2023· Rupkatha Journal on Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities1doi:10.21659/rupkatha.v15n2.25

This paper contextualizes the intricate relationship between language, culture, and place in Milton Murayama’s All I am Asking for is My Body, underlining the dynamic of the Japanese-American diasporic experience in Hawaii. The econarratological analysis delves into the spatial representation and homodiegetic narration employed by Murayama to immerse readers in the plantation labor experience and the linguistic landscapes of Hawaii. The study examines the complex dynamics between Standard English and Hawaiian Creole English (HCE) in Murayama’s work, highlighting their role in shaping the cultural and linguistic identity of the characters. By employing immersive textual cues, such as vivid descriptive imagery and the strategic use of language styles, Murayama creates a mental model of narratives that accurately depicts the historicity of the Nikkei community, focusing on the plantation labor experience. This paper argues that the deliberate blending of Standard English and HCE in Murayama’s fiction enhances readers’ engagement and understanding of the Nikkei experience and contributes to broader discussions on language, culture, and identity within the context of diaspora literature.
