Phase/frequency modulation employing array codes

In the Letter a combined coding and phase/frequency modulation technique employing an array coding scheme is described and a performance analysis of this technique is presented. It is shown that this technique gives asymptotically ∼ 2 to 3 dB coding gain in comparison with an uncoded transmission.
